2011 Academy Award Winners – Complete List

With a few minor exceptions, this year’s Academy Awards kind of, well… sucked. I am disappointed that hosts Anne Hathaway and James Franco didn’t manage to make the telecast more palatable for viewers.

Can we say snore-fest?

Of the whole telecast, I only manged to enjoy three things. The first memorable moment for me was when Melissa Leo won the Best Supporting Actress statue for The Fighter. Leo’s dropping of the F-Bomb was history making, I don’t think that’s ever happened before!

Number two on my list would have to be Cate Blanchett‘s description of Best Makeup Effects winner The Wolfman… In her words; ‘That’s gross!’. Absolute perfection and my personal reaction to watching that film. I have to agree that the film is kind of nasty visually. But I guess that’s what they were going for right?

And my final favorite moment of the broadcast would have to be the cute/witty banter between Sherlock Holmes‘ co-stars Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr.

That was hilarious! Not only that, but I got my eye-candy quota filled for the night.

God those men are sexy beasts, aren’t they?
